This is a beautiful antique bottle for scent. It is made of very nicely cut glass which is possibly cranberry glass and stands nicely on a flat base with a gorgeous cut star burst to the base. It has a beautiful silver top which is hinged and opens nicely and has a silver collar to the top of the bottle along with an original glass stop as shown. The hallmark is for maker CM and the date is Birmingham 1876 and it has a wrinkle to the top and small dings.
The glass may have tiny flea nibbles and some small residue to the base and it is in lovely antique condition. It measures 1.6 inches high and is likely to be mid Victorian.
As an antique item it will show signs of age and patina.
