This is a lovely set of Victorian lorgnettes - folding eye glasses. They are housed in a beautiful mother of pearl casing which has a pull lever to the side which pulls the folding glasses out and they unfold nicely. The glass in in good antique condition and the piece has patina and age related wear. They have a good bail to the end which means you can attach them to ribbon for around your neck or to your chatelaine or fob. They measure just over 2.5 inches when folded.
This is a very old antique item and as such will show signs of wear commensurate with age.
