This is a beautiful cravat pin of distinctive design. It is a nice length just under 2 inches long and has a lovely, very Georgian design top. It is a square finial with little seed pearls, turquoise/turquoise glass and possibly a garnet to the centre. The rear is likely gold or gold filled with a good gilt twisted stem.
It is a beautiful little piece, perfect to set off an outfit - could be used as hair jewellery or for hat pin and of course for a cravat pin. All would work very well and perfect for a special occasion like a wedding.
It is an antique item so will show signs of wear commensurate with age.
