This is a lovely antique brooch from the Victorian era. It is likely made from bog oak and is carved beautifully in the shape of a Celtic cross with all kinds of detail to both sides. It has a very old c clasp to the rear as shown and may have been a pendant possibly with a good hole to the top suitable for a chain.
It is a large piece at 2 inches high and in lovely antique condition.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of age and patina. This is a lovely very old notion.
