This is a gorgeous very solid silver cigarette case from 1929 and beautifully hallmarked for famous Birmingham maker William Hair Haseler.
It has gorgeous etching to each side and a lovely curve to sit in your pocket and has the original straps inside to hold the contents in place and these are wonderful metal pieces with good spring still and separation to one end as shown. The front has a lovely monogram for LM and it has an amazing weight of over 46 gms. The dimensions are 3.1 inches high by 2.25 inches and it is a fine quality piece in lovely antique condition with minor dings and wear.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of age and patina. This is a lovely very old notion.
