These are a charming pair of antique bon bon dishes. They are made of solid silver and beautifully hallmarked for 1897 Birmingham and for famous maker Henry Matthews. They are heart shaped and just exquisitely detailed with all kinds of flourishes and very Art Nouveau in design with pretty lattice work as a base. There is some cleaning residue and patina, with a lovely weight of over 32 gms. They measure 3.6 inches across and are a gorgeous authentic pair with matching hallmarks.
This is a gorgeous gift for a wedding or special occasion.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of wear and patina.
