This is a stunning Victorian doll's head from legendary maker Hertwig and one of the Pet Name brand. She is very large at just under 7 inches high and she is made of porcelain. She has wonderful blonde curls, beautifully shaped and a charming face with little pink cheeks, rosebud lips and blue eyes. She has the name Esther embossed to her chest underneath a pretty bow and collar detail. She has very old cotton wool inside her head and Patent Approved Germany stamped to the rear with four holes to attach her to a body. She is ready for use or display and has minor age related wear and is a beautiful authentic antique given her considerable age.
As an antique or vintage item it will show signs of wear and patina.
