This is a beautiful unmarked solid silver locket from the Victorian era. It has a striking front with chased engraved leaves which are likely to be ivy, signifying fidelity. They are set within a inset front with a lovely laurel type border to each edge. It opens nicely to reveal a jeweller scratched interior with numbers as shown. It has some bumps and dings due to age and has a very good bail original to the piece. It is a nice larger piece at 2 inches and is a lovely piece with signs of wear and authentic to the period.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of age and patina. This is a lovely very old piece.
