This is a beautiful Victorian French poetry book full of romance. It is tipped to be saucy and licentious! Thankfully my French isn't so good! It is in used condition and likely to be mid Victorian with some nice illustrations to the rear and worn cover and sides as shown. It is a lovely gift and highly collectable.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of age and patina. This is a lovely very old item.
