This is a beautiful Victorian Valentine card before they became established as they are now. It is likely to be 1870s and features a beautiful lacy cut out front and back. It has an exquisite two sided design and a slightly puffy centre on silky fabric - it does not open but reverses. One side has a little printed script of Affections Offering and it is in just gorgeous condition.
It is a very rare and very charming piece which will display beautifully, particularly framed and measures 3.6 inches high.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of age and patina. This is a lovely very old item.
