This is a beautiful Victorian Christmas card before they became established as they are now. It is likely to be 1870s and features a lovely bright picture of a little sailor band playing a drum and dancing with a friendly polar bear with a few overturned alcohol bottles! It has A Joyous Xmas and A Happy New Year to the front with a lovely inked message on the rear For Dear Bertie From Granny.
It is a very rare and very charming piece which will display beautifully, particularly framed and measures 4 inches across.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of age and patina. This is a lovely very old item.
