This is a stunning antique - likely to be Edwardian. It is a compact pendant - a large silver piece which has a bail so can be for a chatelaine or fob or for using as a pendant. It has a very decorative embossed front with a bouquet of flowers with roses. The lid lifts up nicely with a little lip clasp to the top and inside is a gorgeous silver gilt interior which is very bright and clean. It has an original mirror to the lid as shown with nice foxing. The casing is beautiful and clean and it has a good 800 hallmark to the interior edge. It measures approx. 2.25 inches across. There is plenty of space inside for any useful little items or powder.
This is a gorgeous antique in beautiful condition and would make an amazing gift.
As an antique item it will show signs of age and patina.
