This is a beautiful antique snuff box with a horn veneer or similar and likely to be Georgian, so a lovely old piece. It has a lovely range of colours and is for a desk and has a push button to front side to open which it does so nicely. It has an unmarked silver trim and blank cartouche to the top with pretty dimpling and design and a mark to the cartouche. The interior is wood and is in very good condition.
It measures 2.25 inches high. It is in lovely antique condition with some minor loss to the horn on the bottom and a slight looseness to the hinge and a fine antique of considerable age and still a very useful little box.
As an antique item it will show signs of wear and patina.
