This is a beautiful shell box likely from the first part of the 20th century. It is a stunning piece made from an entire shell with beautiful lustre. It has white metal and brass parts, one which opens to reveal a little cavity, suitable for snuff or any small pills, items or stash. It has a brass panel to the base to sit on and a pretty swirl in metal to the top. The lid even has a little shell insert too. It feels beautiful today and is a lovely rare piece. It is 2.5 inches across and in lovely antique condition and an amazing gift with lots of useful purposes.
As an antique item it will show signs of age and patina.
