This is a lovely antique locket from the Victorian era. It is nicely stamped for Rolled Gold and has a clever mechanism where the top ball can be carefully unscrewed which releases the two sides so can you change the internal pictures. There is a celluloid cover to each side and presently a very nice photograph of a sailor likely from the Edwardian/WW1 era. It has minor wear to the gold and the top screw is nicely stiff, and also has a hole for wearing on a chain. It measures 1.5 inches high.
As an antique item it will show signs of age and patina.
