This is a beautiful tape measure from the Victorian period. It is made of brass and is very prettily designed with a winding reel to the top and lovely Regency style decoration to all sides. this winds up the pale red tape which has 60 inches to one side and 150 cm marked out very boldly to the other side. The tape winds up nicely and doesn't have an end bobble so be careful not to wind in too far.
The whole piece is very attractive and in beautiful antique condition and stands just over 1 inch high including the reel.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of wear and patina.
