This is a beautiful antique pin tray of considerable age. It is made of very heavy glass with deeply scalloped sides and good solid weight. It has a lovely glass panel applied to the base of a lovely little portrait of a finely painted profile of a Georgian gent with lovely costume and a gold laurel border. There are several nibbles to the edging of the piece and there is a crack across the portrait which is only really visible from the underside. The applied portrait has significant edging loss and is likely to be have placed to preserve it. It is a unique and charming piece of likely 200 years old. It measures 3 inches by 2.25 inches and is just over 1 inch high.
As an antique item it will show signs of wear and patina.
