This is a lovely old desk seal - likely from the Edwardian era and possibly French. It has a very attractive Art Nouveau column design with beautiful swirls and flourishes. To the base is a metal stamp which houses a very attractive initial seal - shown stamped into Blutack in the pictures. It measures 2.75 inches high and stands beautifully with minor wear to the metal and residue.
As an antique item it will show signs of age and patina.
