This is a lovely little fan likely from the Edwardian period.
It is made of celluloid and is threaded through with ribbon through the fab pieces. It fans out nicely and to the centre has a little picture of a lady in heels and a pretty hat with flowers, she is very charming. The fan is in very nice condition with the little loop to the base of the handle only partially present. It measures 8.5 inches across the fan and is just under 5 inches high. The ribbon naturally makes the fan blades push out a little and there is age related patina. It is a very charming little piece.
As an antique item it will show signs of wear and patina.
