This is a beautiful brass card case, likely from the first part of the 20th century. It is a very pretty gold colour and has pretty embossed and raised decoration picked out in enamel and has decoration on all sides. It has a nice little clasp to the front side and inside I have left the contents as shown which have some rust patina as shown. which will be removable. The lid opens nicely and the hinge is good and it snaps shut beautifully. It measures 3 inches by 1.6 inches and is a very pretty piece which has wear to the enamel and the interior patina as described. It is small for cards of the time and is a lovely little piece still with lots of uses.
As an antique item it will show signs of age and patina.
