This is a very attractive silver box most commonly used as a pill box but for any small pocket items. It has lovely Art Nouveau style etching to the top. It is nicely hallmarked for London import for 1989 and for maker HJ. The hinge works well and the front opening is slightly springy with a small wrinkle to the silver which is reflected in the price. It is in otherwise very nice condition and a very useful little piece weighing 12 gms and perfect for perhaps a ring box.
As a vintage or antique item, it will show signs of wear and patina.
